Highest quality essential oil of lavender has very positive properties on the psyche, has a calming effect on the nervous system, protects the nerves from being overly stimulated, soothes excessive emotions and increases well-being and quality of life.

In aromatherapy, essential oil of lavender is used especially for insomnia and restlessness. Its muscle-relaxing and anti-hypertensive effects are often used to soothe nervousness and anxiety. Pure lavender oil is also a valuable help with headaches caused by anxiety and similar circumstances.

Organic lavender oil is blessed with the following properties: strongly antispasmodic, calming, strengthens the heart, protects the immune system, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, analgesic, insect-repelling and itch-relieving.

A study by the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington found that lavender oil is one of the few essential oils that is powerful enough to stifle the growth of bacteria on the skin. For this reason, lavender oil is used in the care of oily skin, problematic skin and sensitive skin. Pure lavender oil also helps to regenerate cells, it is very beneficial, especially for redness or burns.

Aroma therapists are known to recommend natural lavender oil for the caring and calming effects on the skin as well as for promoting wound healing processes.

Our organic lavender oil is highly germicidal and is suitable for cleaning room air. It has an antiseptic, expectorant, analgesic and antispasmodic effect and is therefore an excellent remedy for respiratory diseases as well as for infections and inflammations in the ear, nose and throat area such as for bronchitis, sinus infections and inflammations of the middle ear.

For stubborn and recurring diseases such as skin or athlete's foot, the oil provides mild and lasting care.

All natural lavender oil does not only work to ward off insects but also inhibits itching from insect bites and promotes their healing. Lavender oil also has a decongestant and pain-relieving effect, is skin-caring and refreshing.

Usually, lavender oil is applied topically. As one of the few essential oils, it can also be applied directly (undiluted) to the skin.

  • Relaxes the mind and the body.
  • Encourages good night's sleep.
  • Relieves skin rashes caused by insect bites.
  • Helps with acne and is suitable for the oily skin type

This is a lavender scented floral water. It arrived nicely packaged and boxed, and the bottle looks good too, it gives a luxurious appearance. The scent isn't too strong. It can be used for many things, for me its a combination of a pillow spray, and a cooling face spray. The company have a number of different floral scented waters, lavender would be my favourite choice. Its priced around the £10 mark so reasonable, but perhaps for a gift its more appropriate.

    Mrs. Hatter —

I absolutely love the scent of lavender and as such have a lot of toiletries and bath products as well as candles etc in lavender and also use a lot of the essential oil in burners etc, so for me the scent here is a little too subtle. Fine for a bag spray or coat spray to lightly freshen up but I think for the price I'd expect a stronger concentration.

Mum-in-law is very fond of the scent of Lavender so I got this Essences Bulgaria Organic Lavender Floral Water for her to check out for me. The most obvious thing she noticed was the lack of fragrance – this is nothing like an essential oil and the Lavender itself was barely recognisable. However, this seems to be a natural organic product that ticks some eco-friendly boxes and at around a tenner for a 250ml spray currently from Amazon appears good value on the face of it. It may be that Bulgarian Lavender

I like this immensely. The lavender water comes in a good sized spray bottle, packed in a cardboard outer. I use one of two sprays as a facial cleanser or just to refresh my skin. The spray itself is a light mist, I like that it's not heavy. The scent of lavender is light and subtle, not heavy and cloying, which too much lavender can be. My skin feels toned and there's a relaxing quality too. I apply it before bed to get a good night's rest. It's also good value for money.

The lavender spray is refreshing but it is not as amazing as the rose spray from this brand. But I can tell the lavender scent is pretty natural. The organic lavender is good for your skin and hair. I spray it to calm my skin after a hot sunny day

My partner has tried out this organic lavender floral water in her facial cleansing routine and has given it her seal of approval. She will be buying it in the future. She sprays it onto her cotton pads, it only requires a few squirts and she finds it a wonderfully fresh and invigorating way to start the day.The company’s production of this high quality Bulgarian lavender without using artificial additives or preservatives is very reassuring. At the current price of £ 9.90 this is indeed value for money for

Lavender is one of my favourite scents and I was delighted to have the opportunity to try out this gorgeous lavender water. I use it as a face spritzer in the morning before moisturising and also as a cooling body spray. The scent is gorgeous and long lasting. I now have three of these floral waters and they are all fabulous and I cannot recommend highly enough.Five stars for quality, scent, longevity and above all fantastic price.

    Constance Reader —

You might think that Provence grows all the lavender but I trust Bulgarian lavender after seeing how beautifully they grow Bulgarian Roses. This is a lovely product, very simply made. It's versatile, being simply lavender essence and water. I have used it on fabrics, such as headboards and sofas as well as on my face (shut your eyes). A little goes a long way as I've been spraying with abandon but the bottle still feels quite full. The scent is as you'd imagine: herbal, floral and fresh as a daisy.

I like to use facial sprays to help hydrate and refresh my skin. I like that this one has a lavender scent, as it is very calming to use before bed.I received a 250ml plastic bottle of product with a pump action spray and cap. A best before date of 12/2023 is printed on the box.The spray is fine and perfect for refreshing my makeup during the day.I would describe the lavender scent as very natural and although strong to begin with, it fades quickly. It feels refreshing on my skin and works well as a facial a

This is a bigger bottle than I anticipated (there’s a drinks can in the photo for size comparison). It’s a sturdy plastic bottle with a good pump-spray top.The problem for me is that the scent isn’t as strongly lavender as I was expecting. It’s got a hint of it but I loved lavender and I was expecting a couple of sprays to fill the room with a strong lavender perfume but it isn’t really that strong. A bit of a shame.

    Londoner —

Having previously tried this brand's rose water which was gloriously heady without being over-powering, there were similar hopes for this. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The "Essences Bulgaria Organic Lavender Floral Water" is considered insipid by comparison. Opinion also differs as to whether the fragrance is from a variety of the herb that is considered 'best' for fragrance or a less potent one. Personal views are closer to the latter option. Its use is essentially identical to that for the rose wate

I'm addicted to this rosewater spray. I keep it out in my bathroom counter and use it every time I need a cool mist or really anytime I walk by the bathroom. I'm surprised how long this container lasts since I use it several times a day. Great value for the money. Will definitely buy again.

I use the Lavender Floral Water as I spray it directly on my skin. I'm really satisfied with it as it makes my skin soft and it gives long lasting Lavender scent. Sometimes, I use it as a hair spay, it makes my hair silky and help to distribute the scalp's natural oils through my hair!
