We asked a few of our favorite Instagram creators—whose content we love following—to share some of their favorite uses for lavender water.
Nevena Raychanova @nevenaraychanova:
“My first memory of lavender? The little sachets my grandmother put in the wardrobe against moths. Since then I haven’t liked its sharp scent and had sworn off using it—but a random order introduced me to Essences Bulgaria’s lavender water. I decided to give this much-praised plant a second chance, and I’m glad I did. The water is so light, gentle, and fresh. I use it daily to hydrate and tone my facial skin. I love spritzing it on my scalp and I’ve noticed a visible reduction in sebum. We’re inseparable at night, too, when I spray the pillows and enjoy a peaceful sleep.”

Lina @linnag:
“We all know lavender water helps with problem skin, so I decided to try it for the first time about a year ago, and since then it’s been part of my daily skincare. I have oily, acne-prone skin, so every day before applying my day cream I swipe my face with a cotton pad soaked in lavender water—the difference is visible very soon after the first use. Lavender water has many other uses; I probably use it in every possible way.
Very often I don’t have time for a hairstyle—I mist lavender water into my hair, brush it, and instantly feel freshness and a pleasant scent. Lavender water adds shine to hair and nourishes the scalp, so I use it this way often.
I also use it to refresh and hydrate my skin in summer.”

Kadi @HealthyBeautyGirls:
“Lavender water—just saying it brings to mind vast purple lavender fields. Breathtaking beauty and aroma… Lavender water has countless benefits for our skin and our soul. As a proud owner of oily, acne-prone skin (proud, because what else would I fuss over if I didn’t have this demanding skin?), I’m a big fan of floral waters overall. My tip: if you haven’t tried a floral water yet, pick one suited to your skin. Lavender water is one of my favorites for my skin. With its antibacterial action, it’s a great helper against acne. It’s suitable for both dry and oily skin because it helps regulate pH. I use it as a toner or simply to refresh my face by spritzing with a spray bottle. It has a calming, relaxing effect that helps me sleep at night. Spray your pillow and enjoy a peaceful sleep.”

“Hello! Lavender water has been a favorite product of mine for years! I first used it when I had trouble sleeping. Since then, a few spritzes on the pillow at bedtime always calm me down. Over time I started using it for other things—most importantly, the scalp. Lavender water really helps with an irritated or itchy scalp; I use 3–4 sprays as needed, and my hair smells wonderful! I often use it as a toner after cleansing my face, and after a whole day at the beach—lavender water saves my skin! Bonus tip for men: lavender water can be applied after shaving; it has a very good soothing and antibacterial effect.”

“Lavender isn’t among my favorite scents, but floral water has proven benefits I’ve believed in for a long time. I first started using it years ago after reading about its positive effects. I use lavender water as a facial toner, especially when I notice pimples or any redness—it always soothes my skin. In summer, floral waters replace body lotions; lavender water always works great—it makes my skin very smooth. I also use it as a face mist, and it always helps with headaches.”
